I recall the incident like it was yesterday, the towering, sturdy, red brick home, beautified by the mesmerizing flower beds and glistening cobblestone, it was simply breathtaking. Nothing could match the magnitude of my one-acre backyard and playroom, which witnessed much of my childhood, apart from my parents. Not only was the house spectacular, but also the area, which we resided, contained the most interesting and charitable people I had ever encountered. Beeton, a place full of life and exhilaration, one I will never dismiss from my mind; home sweet home. On my street, it was marvellous that my best friends lived mere houses away from me. I spent my entire childhood, creating the fondest memories with extraordinary people. Growing on that very foundation with such an astonishing community, strengthened the bond I shared with the four walls that guarded me as I experienced life. Until one day, that euphoria disappeared in seconds. It was a pleasant summer day in June; I had just perfected the game of hopscotch with my good companion Angela.
